It’s all change here at W5! After months of menu testing we’re thrilled to announce the launch our new menu format, drumroll please… here’s what we’ve done…

Meat & Fish Grills

We’ve added a whole new grill section of meat from local butcher’s Hook & Cleaver and stunning fresh Cornish fish. New grill options include bavette and rib eye steak and even a côte de boeuf for sharing, as well as spatchcock poussin, Barnsley lamb chop and pork loin chop.

Fishy grill options include salmon steak and monkfish on the bone as well as a divine whole baked crab with hollandaise that just has to be tasted to be believed.

All grill dishes are served simply with the option to build up your plate with our fabulous new sides of triple cooked chips, Dauphinoise, salads and other yummy extras.


Salads & Grains

Our new selection of healthy but super tasty, power salads are light yet filling, with the option of small or large portions.

Try heirloom tomato, rocket and basil ‘panzanella’ for a summery classic, mixed grains with tenderstem broccoli, almonds & harissa yoghurt for some energizing eats or Caesar salad with/without anchovy. We’ll add extra chicken, bacon or avocado at your command – or all three if you’re a famished pre or post gym bunny!

W5 brunch

Extra Brunch & New Sunday Lunch

And there’s more! We’ve jazzed up our brunch menu with some delicious Spanish inspired dishes like baked eggs with goat’s cheese and pepperonata and scrummy duck hash with spinach and egg – all available daily until 4pm.

We’ve also introduced our famous Charlotte’s roast to W5’s Sunday menu.  Try our topside of beef with classic Yorkshire puds, onion gravy or our half chicken and bread sauce both with roast potatoes, veggies and cauliflower cheese for just £17.50 per person (kids can get a half portion for half price).


Small and Large Plates

For more seasonally inspired dishes, check out our chef’s mouth-watering creations. New starters include country style pork terrine with tomato jam and toast, as well as a classic Charlotte’s favourite of chicken liver parfait in a kilner jar with port jelly and toasted brioche.

New mains include confit duck leg with butter beans, hispi greens and apple vinegar; hazelnut crusted pollock with potato mousse, spring onion, Bayonne ham; seabream with a muscle and cauliflower chowder and tarragon oil and potato gnocchi with grilled & marinated aubergine and Romesco red pepper sauce for a little sweetness.

So whether you’re into steak and chips, a stunning super-salad or creative culinary treat, we’ve got an irresistible little something for everyone – now you just need to decide whether to indulge indoors or outside in our Sipsmith Secret Sipping Garden!
